I stand 5’11” and weigh around 172 pounds, never married, no children, no debt, no felonies, no nasty habits, no drug use unless you count alcohol. I drink moderately depending on the company. I have olive skin, brown eyes, black hair, and am kind of skinny. The reason I’m still single is because I was obsessed with going to school and having a career; making those things a priority over everything else. As a result, I’m very educated in the formal sense and have multiple degrees. Not a billionaire though, also not so smart outside my expertise but always willing to learn. Making as much money as possible was never a priority for me. On the other hand, I do make enough passive income to live. I also have a thing for going to New Orleans every year if I can. I love live music and hanging out with good people.
I am nice guy overall but not a doormat. Although I’m probably a bit nerdy and older, my temperament is much less mature. I’m laid-back; not the yelling screaming type. In fact, I like to avoid that kind of thing. Passion is wonderful but unnecessary drama just gets in the way. I like normal things like science fiction and horror, crime and detective movies. I used to be able to say I don’t watch TV, but that’s not true lately. Netflix has corrupted me. I like to get dressed up and eat out. Maybe see a live concert. Nothing fancy unless you like that kind of thing. I mostly stayed home and play several instruments including piano (not that good), guitar (rhythm guitar okay, lead guitar not so much), drum set (advanced), and I sing (intermediate). I’m not opposed to going out, I just like to have someone interesting to spend my time with.
My taste in music depend on the instrument I am playing (I switch off year to year). For drum set I like rock ‘n roll, progressive rock, hard rock, some headbanging like Arch Enemy, or just groups like Sevendust. I’m a single kick drummer but pretty quick. Influences include Terry Bozeo, Neil Peart, and John Bonham. I like singing songs from female artists. I mostly like songs that women sing and play on guitar. I’m open-minded to all people and don’t care about skin color or ethnicity as long as we can have fun playing together and seeing every gallery at the Smithsonian on weekends if possible. I’m straight but don’t care whether you are as long as we are priorities in each other’s lives if we hit it off.

What I am looking for
This section is conflicting for me. I am looking for an unusual woman. If you’re on the tall, skinny side like me, young at heart, look good, exercise, and take care of yourself, I’m good with that. I’m a leg man. I like long hair, tattoos, and piercings, but it’s not mandatory. Mostly, I’m drawn to strong independent woman who can financially and emotionally sustain themselves. If you need a man to “complete you” I’m probably not your guy. Being conservative or liberal makes no difference to me as long as being hateful and judgmental of others is not part of your character. If you’re funny, I like that. If your little dirty, I like that to. If your main job is as a law-enforcement person, lawyer, doctor, secret agent, I’m into you. If you were a goth or emo girl in a past life, I’m with you. I love professional women with a musical/artful side to them. There are no guarantees in life. If strategy for meeting a good man hasn’t been working; why not get together for dinner and see how goes.
